In this study, the uncertainty from foil thickness measurement was analyzed. The reference gold foil thickness (633 micron) was varied to observe the changes in neutron flux spectrum and capture reaction rate. It was estimated that the variation in the thickness measurement could be ±20%. Therefore, a number of simulations were performed for the gold foil thickness 20% to +20% variation of the reference value. Furthermore, the spatial neutron distribution along foil thickness was analyzed by dividing the gold foil into 5 layers.
